The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 温情柔软，哪怕里面的冲突场面也看不到狠劲儿，这种已看不到什么野心的片子对东木来讲真的是当乐趣在做吧…年过九十的老爷子还能一年一次奉献出自己对电影的热爱，这会带来比电影本身更多的感动。
老爷子的内心很柔软，所以一切的呈现都是偏温柔的童话的美好的，视觉上倒让那只活力的公鸡抢足了戏。

廉颇老矣不是问题，牵强的be strong就是问题了
平淡无奇 小男主既无成长也无用处（鸡都比他有用）跟骡子和老爷车比不了 没了东木大爷的情怀分就是流水账的烂片（话说开篇加这种妹子过边境混时长的片段就大感不妙 到后面也充斥着和剧情人物塑造都无关的混子片段）

这么大岁数了真不容易！还得演副线的感情戏。哈哈哈。老当益壮。

老爷子是不是就想过一下戏瘾？不管怎样，希望继续拍下去吧。
“你以为你得到了所有答案，然后随着年龄增长，你发现你什么都没得到。但等你发现这一点的时候已经晚了。”他的电影都像是半自传体，就像他年轻时候演的那些牛仔片，当时他感觉自己很酷，什么都有了，但是他现在发现这些荣耀男子气概这些东西都是虚假的
失望！无与伦比的烂，开头交代人物背景的对白是如此的干涩和生硬的。伊斯特伍德的脸已经老到做不了表情了，再加上所有配角演员糟糕的表演。等着提名金酸梅吧
人生就像东木和小男孩在墨西哥边境小镇度过的那段美丽时光总是太短暂了。
想起了不相关的Thomas Cromwell, “Most gracious Prince, I cry for mercy, mercy, mercy."
简单真挚，但确实很多漏洞，墨西哥警长一秒变好人，老板娘任劳任怨，太扁平了

东木是真的老了 就连看骡子的时候都没有那种扑面而来的老去 就连结局也无比像此时此刻的东木的创作心境 那些新世代的年轻人继续上路吧 我只想和我爱的人跳跳舞 将那些年与世对抗的心气慢慢放下 温柔地老去…
老爷子还在坚持创作就是幸事。很高兴看他分享的对人生的感悟。结尾反转很爽快。
