唉不是我喜欢的类型还是看完了，还一位是赌神那挂的爆米花电影。
剧情过于平淡 ，穿插了臭名昭著关塔那摩监狱 ，虐囚回忆 ，威廉达福客串了 一个小角色 ，并未提高影片的成色 。
有些镜头蛮有意思的，大段的广角和监狱里的百态，很妙。
满心期待想找，看下来跟扑克一点关系没有。 可能还是不够年纪看这种救赎的电影，压抑极了。
就冲着 Oscar Issac 可以用眼睛飙演技，没白看

加害者与受害者一体的创伤后遗症呈现，可是真的好枯燥好无聊。
有种90年代剧情片的感觉，两个男主选的都不错，特别是伊萨克，造型非常有张力。罪与罚，是与非，在人间的审判之上的是“上帝”的审判。
就像男主光着身子坐在桌前，却穿戴整齐躺在床上。赌博者和监狱虐囚两个主题穿插得满是违和感，让作为观者的我感到情绪被切割成很多块，无法拼装。
除了那句“usa！usa!”还有极其敷衍的床戏之外，没有任何可看的地方，太无聊了！不3倍速放完根本坚持不下去！
摄影和配乐都很好，但是故事不够戏剧化，多了真实感，却过于平淡让人食之无味，弃之可惜。

四星半。與前一部《First Reformed》相似，關於一個男人的自我救贖。表現PTSD回憶的魚眼鏡頭很好；Oscar Isaac演技仍然細膩，演活這種孤獨、堅毅卻又脆弱的角色。

4/10。施拉德以一种粗糙的美学入侵了数字电影的美学，缺少运动感的固定中景、减少情绪化的表演、低沉简洁的音效式配乐，突出了内在张力的根本性缺乏，繁华喧闹的赌场和纯洁禁欲的角色无法形成潜在戏剧关系，仅使用简陋的情节进行联接更加深了这种弊病。战争虐囚议题和一些细节（酷刑指挥官成为一款测谎仪的产品讲师），构成了战争和资本主义危机的隐喻，曾经是他们中一员的主人公表露出逃避和退让心理，已经由监牢中写日记坦诚的方式获得了自我纾解，他始终游历于发牌桌、宾馆和车内空间的狭窄场域，没有爱好和私人生活，虽然小跟班与他工作场景上的交集开启了他的心灵空间，但前者的死让他拯救的动机落空，必需以身殉道去彻底恢复心灵创伤回归日常，结尾监狱的玻璃墙成为一道分割人物的狭窄空间，他和她手指相触，代表主人公放弃了理性，投奔爱和感性。
沉郁的气质，叙事上颇为反类型，但略显不够powerful
