The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 画面是很美，可是节奏好慢，少有的拍的似乎很用心但是我看不下去的电影。

最后20分钟救了一点回来，和叙事长诗不同的一种耐人寻味
看完後又抱著朵朵一起再看了一遍，這片也很適合與貓一起看，嗯嗯。

美术很赞，别出心裁的打光、巧妙的构图，舒适的色彩，这是一部为电影院而生的电影。艺术感浓烈，风格诡谲，是A24的味。可惜剧情实在是欣赏不来，更谈不上史诗。舒缓的节奏加上阴郁的情绪很催眠，一不小心就睡了…

没有明白很多表意的符号与道具，大体意思就是试炼闯关，成为骑士
3.5 打光实在太美了…没挖过中世纪神话故事，高文对于夫人的诱惑不为所动，在这里变成了绿腰带的诱惑，成了if线。处理绿衣骑士对高文的结尾还真挺浪漫的*节奏慢得一匹…
年度期待之一，结果压根不是恐怖片。跟鬼魅浮生类似，坚持用木讷冰冷的手段来叙述人物情感，可前作有好音乐和时空道具，这部则完全脱力。
拍的真是好看，但故事的编排感觉不够精巧，或者说，配不上如此好看的质感

【2.5】依旧拥有A24的独立调性：一种纵使风格千变万化但仍以优秀审美和求异心理所延续的精神。可惜本片不成体系的符号植入过多，节奏亦在拖累，让本应赏心悦目的风格之旅在某些时刻显得无比滞重。大卫·洛维的能力自然是不高，说句俗套的话叫只有佳句而无佳章。回头看去，《鬼魅浮生》更像个美丽的意外。
