The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 911事件导致的连锁反应，人与人在危难之中的互助充分反映了人性光芒，政治立场就不太好评价了，毕竟是美国主旋律舞台剧。
本来想2020年五月回国看的，可惜一个疫情打乱了一切。机长和我的驾校教练长得太像，导致我时不时就跳戏XD
刷了两遍，对照时局更加感慨，Prayer听得眼眶发热。几乎全程群像戏的剧本和舞台调度太好了。

是优秀的作品，但不是我会喜欢的音乐剧。里面从舞台后方向前拍的段落挺意外的。
有点失望，以为是全程唱歌，脍炙人口那种，结果更像是话剧，舞台布置别说和被大家说穷的《摇滚红与黑》比了，疯提尔的《狗镇》都可以吊打的水平，总之属于观看失望和实际间的落差太大
回家的火车上看的，继《汉密尔顿》之后的第二部音乐剧。音乐剧这种东西，将音乐和剧情结合在一起，真的很有表现力，入坑了。小镇居民的援助，是人性中最原始的善的表达。
为世界四分五裂所叹息时，感谢善意将一切再汇聚成一起，为人性的光辉时刻摇旗呐喊。
