The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. As the return of the V/H/S series it’s pretty good with five new stories.The company could produce more and more creepy movies of urban legend if they want.I await the next.
个人评价：
回归到VHS的正常制作水准，比较来看还是第一个故事最有意思。
总体差于前两部，但是比第三部好，画面质感加录像合理度都回归了前两部的原装风格，最喜欢前两个鼠人和守夜的录像带，鼠人加入的电视节目放送风格，又有都市怪谈的意思；守夜的氛围营造最优秀，空无一人的灵堂加后面扭曲尸体带来的刺激都很好；第三个印尼故事延续了第二部那个的生猛，但是视觉刺激强不等于好，与整体录像带复古风最不搭；邪教那个倒是很有邪教类纪录片的感觉，但是没什么意思；串场的整体故事最差
机器人女生那段帅炸！像第一人称玩电脑游戏一样～刺激！！就凭那段马上给个4🌟
串联环节不明所以，各个单元剧品质参差不齐，整体尚可
算是及格的续集片了，依然是恶心+重口味+暴力，伪纪录片真的不想再看了，伤眼睛

第一個下水道鼠人的最喜歡，第三個科學怪人的一開始比較無聊，後面充滿快感，其他的都比較一般，尤其是最後一個，看了半天不知道說了什麼。
看之前伪纪录真得厌倦 过程中天呐这太……和我想得不一样 看之后好喜欢即刻看完本系列其他 storm drain 女记者站下水道口那段氛围太棒 the empty wake 有猴爪遗风 the subject 人机合体纯血腥 terror 吸血鬼反杀是凑时长 今年快结束只有两部不错 这部和怪奇宅 灵媒本可以不错
老一套，除了疯狂博士改造人其他没啥亮点，结尾多少有点潦草了
那个说“什么年代了随便拿个手机拍都比这画质好”的短评太好笑了
【3星半】年度R级类型电影大赏，直接被溶解掉下来的脸皮、半头骨半生状态游走、非法人体机械改造、不死身和堪比小丑回魂那样的开嘴尖牙巨口，世界观和脑洞眼界再一次被奇异猛烈地拓展了，谈不上喜欢但是真的有点东西。
【2.5】没有印象特别好的短片，但这部至少有起死回生的迹象，全方位地好于上一部《病毒》，且串场线又回到了熟悉的阴宅里的“观看”，给人一种似乎有意要与《病毒》划清界限的幽默感。

想说先看一会儿打发时间，结果一不小心全看完了，够血腥，够cult。
比前几部多了一份粗粝与最原始的血腥本色，但故事也相对变得更加支离破碎。
