The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 刻奇、异端、刻板，短促而激烈的剧情，是一个系列的开端景象。
一个拍黄片的小团队，在荒郊野岭租了一个厂房拍片，不料激起了房东老太太的少女心和对黄片女演员的嫉妒心。为了泯灭黄片团队的青春活力，两位老房东开始了暴力行动...这片子又黄又暴力，极度引起我的心理不适。幸好今日我已是老男人，若是孩童时期，不晓得会不会带给我一辈子的心理阴影。

没啥感觉，看时就觉得编导是男的吧，果然。对老年人满恶意了，其实也有不少涉及老年人sex的其他作品，哪有这么夸张的……然后其他所谓恐怖的点也就是每个角色的花式死法而已，猎奇程式化。

半夜pick up后半段，开场在恐怖片里看到一堆拍色情片的围着唱Landslide，电影的魔力总是有这样的惊喜；衰老，sex tension和film-making
看得太恶心了，老年人还追求毛的性生活啊？反胃。

无论如何，应当在Slasher中接受受害者的“傻逼”，这样观众才会享受加害者屠杀的快感。喜剧与恐惧交织才是独属于优秀Slasher电影的特质。Ti West则把霍珀的方法论完全搞反，只有局部比较诙谐幽默。
1979年那是一个春天，能操的动的年纪就尽情操吧，想到我们有一天都会操不动，有一种莫名的悲凉。人老了真是可怜，所有器官都在衰竭，熬过了床上老婆这关，结果还是被吓得心脏病发。
结果……就这？
Good slasher with attitude. A24 approved. 摄影（特别是开场镜头）、配乐（几处特倩女幽魂）都不错，氛围更是一流，可能是厄运遗传以来令人印象最深的。
