The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. B 与上次看的贝尔法斯特同为黑白片，也都是孩子为故事主体，但不同的是c'mon c'mon的黑白选择出奇的好，镜头下投射出叔侄日常生活的高潮和低谷，成长与现实之间的碰撞，LA的阳光普照对比出NY街景的脏乱，亦或者沙滩漫步，道路斑驳，树林郁郁葱葱，都能更好的去呼应人物情感变化，自然而舒服...
分不清真实的边界在哪，可控的范围在哪，崩溃的握拳时机在哪。就是生活。
孩童时代是纯粹且通透的，而成人世界是复杂且充满谎言的。
没有波澜起伏的情节，克制的黑白画面，城市的光影依然温暖。很多对白，舒缓而充满奇思妙想。采访和生活两条线都很棒。连孩子都知道情绪是需要表达出来的，为什么有那么多真心话，需要对着话筒才能说？

这种慢慢慢慢风格放在英文电影上感觉总有点奇怪
坐飞机去荷兰的时候我很浮躁，只看得进猫和老鼠。坐飞机回来的时候心特别静，看了这个决定特别舒服，好看，看到演职员表都走完。觉得世界不是太难呆下去的地方了。
整部电影有种奇怪的暧昧感，如果换成小男孩，是不是有点《洛丽塔》的感觉呢？
