The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 对话流电影，自导自演的宝藏导演，直白的讲了一个要爱自己的故事，把时间、金钱、精力、感情都花在自己身上，年轻迷茫的时候，适当的have some fun也无伤大雅，谁能一下子就认清自己呢，其中讲感情的地方又占据绝大多篇幅，如果像这样约好了再也不见面，那一定曾经是相当在乎的人吧。

那种无处不在的被凝视、被包围、被审判、毫无安全感的氛围在空旷的乡野与微弱的女性个体之间弥漫，一种超越感官恐怖的现实惊悚让人觉得后脊发凉。

一位年轻男孩自导自演的第二部作品。
电影整体拍的确实很舒服，镜头语言很成熟，虽然剧本还值得打磨，但作为刚刚起步的他，确实未来可期。电影前半部分很有趣，后面也很抓人，中间有些枯燥的过场，确实都是靠着导演本人的个人魅力，也确实令人期待他的未来。
男主剧里比海报上好看。其实和我的生活没有什么相似性，但还是有触动。
